The Challenge
With a 50/50 split between paved approach and technical singletrack, Solstice rewards the effort with some of the best descending in Marin. A consistent climb leads to a sustained descent that will have you grinning ear to ear.
The Route
- Approach: Paved road climbing out of Fairfax
- Climb: Sustained fire road and singletrack gaining 2,400 ft
- Descent: Technical singletrack with rock gardens, drops, and tight switchbacks
- Return: Mix of trail and road back to town
